In January The Sunday Times Travel Magazine has published the three best Dublin hotels, so now the tourists who visit Ireland’s capital know were they will be offered the best rooms, food and service.
1) The Shelbourne
The hotel with century-old history has been opened this March after two years of repair. The Shelbourne, opened in 1824 is considered to be on of the best Dublin hotels. Namely in this hotel, in the room 112, in the year 1992 the Constitution of Ireland was created. In 1950’s Grace Kelly stopped here. The repair had returned the hotel its best traits: class, prestige and Guinness beer.
2) The Dylan
If The Shelbourne symbolizes the history of Dublin, The Dylan – is a modern, design hotel. Its outlook, though, bears a little resemblance to the minimalist hi-tech – in the interior the influence of Gregorian style, Asian motives and rococo are felt. The hotel is situated in a Victorian private residence, and in its rooms the newest gadgets neighbor on atemporal luxury. One of the most popular places in the hotel – is its bar.
3) Number 31
The smell of bread always reminds of home. Maybe, namely the white bread, fruits and soda, which are always served here in 1 p.m. are the reasons for the guests to return here again and again. And maybe it is the coziness of the fireplace in the drawing room? This hotel, which has 21 rooms, is housed in a Gregorian style building. The rooms here are simple but comfortable, with high ceilings, big beds, marble bath-tubs and wooden window shutters.
