Trip Advisor Internet site has detected ten “most gastronomic” resorts of the world relying on the opinion of its readers. The first place was conferred on Argentinean Mendoza, where the tourists must certainly taste pastel-de-choclo – a dish, which is made of very delicate corn and meat. Another delicacy, which is recommended to the travelers, is jam made of chayote, a local fruit, which is also called Mexican cucumber.

Catalonia, a region in Spain, the cuisine of which is based on three unchangeable ingredients: grain, oil, wine is on the second place. The art of cooking of this region is equally enriched by the traditions of the Orient and the New World. The majority of Catalonian dishes that are very nutritious include aubergines, meat, are lavishly flavoured with pepper, garlic sauce and romesco sauce.

Marrakech, Morocco, where the lovers of tajine and couscous are recommended to taste the famous harira soup, has taken the third place. Napa Valley (California, USA), Chiang Mai (Thailand), New Orleans (Louisiana, USA), Mexico City (Mexico), Tuscany (Italy), Bali (Indonesia) and Provence (France) have been included in the list as well.
