According to annual ratings of the company “TripAdvisor”, Hotel “Carter”, Manhattan, has been declared the dirtiest US hotel.
This 700-room hotel is situated in the 43 West Street near the Times Square. It has headed “TripAdvisor’s” rating for three years on end. Horrifying stories told by the hotel’s guests can be found on the company’s web-site. These stories tell about bed-bugs, disgusting bathrooms, people who had ran away on seeing the rooms and “night butterflies” visiting the hotel. According to “New York Post”, one of the hotel guests found a woman’s body under his bed in August of that year.
In contrast to this, the hotel’s web-site insists that its future guests “shall enjoy warm hospitality and qualitative service of the Hotel “Carter”, as well as its unique approach (exactly!), different from traditions of other Manhattan hotels”. To reach the hotel by the phone for any comments is impossible. Probably, the only positive aspect is the room cost – a room for two should cost you 133.99$, including taxes. |
