| A top list of the most beautiful islands has been composed on basis of the questioning carried out by the authoritative portal Trip Advisor. At once two Greek resorts are included in the list: the largest Crete Island and the most popular island of Cyclades - Santorini. Here everything is unique and inimitable: the black sandy beaches formed consequently after the volcanic eruption, the fascinating landscapes of the hardened red-brown lava, the turquoise sea views. The white houses built by people and the sky-blue domes of churches look even more beautiful contrasting with the background of this natural color gamut. Well known Italian Sicily is on the second place of the rating, but Bali (Indonesia), known over the world as "The Island of Gods" is on the third place. The list of the most beautiful islands also includes Spanish Majorca, the resort island Turtle (Fiji Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), Man Island (Great Britain), Ireland and the islands near the shores of Antalya (Turkey). |
