International cannabis fair in Bern

"CannaTrade" - this unusual yearly international fair is completely dedicated to cannabis. In spite of the fact that drugs are strictly prohibited by the Swiss legislation, it is being held in the end of March exactly in this small and respected state. This year it is being held already for the 8-th time, that confirms it's growing popularity not only among the locals of Bern, but also among the tourists that especially come to Switzerland in these days. In the last year more than 100 of stands in a pavilion with the area of more than 7000 square meters have been visited by more than 15 000 of people.

This year the visitors will see a real cannabis field, model dress show, watch scientific movies, appraise furniture and decorative items made of cannabis, visit special cafes and taste cannabis drinks and snacks. There is an internet-cafe on the fair, where the visitors that missed any of the events could watch the record online. In spite of the specific topic of the fair, the organizers put their accent on the idea that cannabis is a very useful agricultural material, which products can be widely used in various industrial sectors. The "Canna Swiss Cup" ceremony for the winners of the fair will take place on the last day of the fair.
