Since December, 21st the inhabitants of Czech Republic will not need to show their passports in order to enter the neighboring countries: Germany, Austria or other states of Europe, the members of the Schengen zone.
Ministers of Home Affairs of the EU countries have signed the agreement that cancels control on the borders inside of the Schengen zone. New rules will apply not only to inhabitants of the Europe, but also to tourists who since December, 21st can leave from Czech Republic to any other country of the Schengen zone without obtaining of a new visa. Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and the Baltic countries have also joined the Schengen zone together with Czech Republic.
