Premium hotels count on children |
At the VIP-tourism market the one survives who offers something exclusive; uppermost it is concerned to the hotels that appear in the biggest business cities and resorts.
It can be an ancient hotel-castle, a villa on the ocean’s coast or an ultramodern and fashionable architectural creation. The guarantee of premium service is the main feature of this kind of hotels.
The exclusive hotel is a domestic conception, the “prime hotel” term does not exist in the official hotel grading.
France represents the only exclusion. For the last time there are three categories of four-star hotels, instead of five-star.
Genevese President Wilson Hotel is considered the most expensive one in the world. A night in its royal penthouse costs more than $53 000; the Palms Casino hotel is on the second line of the rating, one night to stay there costs $40 000; the third place is given to the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Tokyo, a night in this hotel will cost a wealthy tourist $17 000. Martinez Hotel in Cannes is on the fourth place, the cost of its president room is $13 000 and higher. The Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi(UAE) finishes top five leaders. A day there costs more than $12 000.
However, new players, the countries of South-Eastern Asia (Malaysia and Singapore) also appear at the market. The hotels of premium quality are being built there. In Russia people also learn to amaze with exclusive service and high prices. In Moscow a base room in Ritz-Carlton costs more than $1000 per a day, but president luxury suit will cost $16 000.
Though the officials of tourism business note that tourist flows from Asia and Europe do not cross each other, in the sphere of hotel luxury there is an unpublished competition in creation of more and more luxury hotel complexes, that are able to offer their clients exclusive services. Some of them give particular attention to registration of family couples with children. In particular, it is one of the latest tendencies of hotel business in Paris. When parents come with children, they are given presents, milk and cookies are included in room service.
The hotels that do not allow children under certain age, represent another modern tendency. The owners of these hotels are guided by the clients who don’t like hubbub caused by children.
It is generally accepted that premium hotels are characteristic by inanition because of high prices. However the guests of the program “Interest Sphere” indicate the opposite. As a rule, the hotels can not offer anything to the clients who book in a day before arrival.
Meanwhile, the prices for living in the hotels of this category keep up unchanged before New Year Holidays or during an intense tourist season. The only trouble in premium hotels may appear while taking a room for a night since the living is offered for several days only. |
