The most popular hotel of such type became the Berlin Ostel in which there are no queues. The residing cost here is quite democratic: 35 euros from a person in four-room GDR-apartments per five places, from 38 euros - in a standard single room. The room such as a "pioneer camp" (a simple room with six beds) costs from nine euros. The breakfasts - 3,5 euros. The German tourist organization carried out the researches which showed that Berlin during the first half of 2007 had been visited by 11,4 % more tourists, than for the same period of 2006. In opinion of the organization representatives, there is a merit of the original Berlin hotels in it. It is necessary to note that 40 % of the tourists staying at them are people who are younger than 35 years old. |
