In Norway city Målselv they plan to build theme park of snowmen and the hotel from snow. This way, the town with the population of 6600 hopes to compete with popular “Village of Santa-Claus” in the neighboring Lapland. “Snowman – is an authentic, natural character, that is associated with the winter. But Santa-Claus represents a vulgar commerce product from plastic, and it can be hardly recommended to the children”, - believes director of the project Evan Herbom. According to his words, authorities of Norway have already begun the process regarding changing of the airport name to “International Airport of snowmen”
