The history of this festival is not a long-term one - for the first time it was held in Florence in 2005, however, the Italians and visiting tourists already like it. This year twice as much spectators than last year are expected to come.

On January, 24-27 on the Santa Groce area the regular festival of "hand-made" chocolate will be held. Here you can not only taste the chocolate, but also watch how people make it.

This sweet merriment is held in the context of the "Florence' winter" action. This is why, besides the chocolate-tasting, visitors can enjoy some musical shows, comical competitions and even participate in the masked ball "Chocolate Night".
