Olimpics-2008 has begun in Harbin

On December, 21st, the 20-th international festival of ice sculptures in the city of Harbin has opened. The city which is located in the northeast of the Heilongjiang province has already accepted from the moment of opening thousands of visitors and tourists at the anniversary annual festival, who were interested in the ice sculptures.

The theme of the enchanting ice spectacle this time became the "Peking Olympiad-2008 ", therefore the general composition of the festival reminds the form of stadium inside of which the directions are getting mixed up with ice paths, supplied by path indicators.

It is known, that in 2006 Harbin was visited by 49 million of tourists from the different countries of the world.
